1. Department Functions
Responsible for the final inspection, packaging, boxing, and pre-shipment arrangement of socks, ensuring product appearance is neat, quantities are accurate, and packaging meets customer requirements. Key responsibilities include:
Sorting & Pairing: Match socks by style, color, and size, checking for defects (e.g., holes, loose threads, uneven dyeing).
Packaging Design: Select appropriate packaging forms (e.g., cardstock + OPP bags, blister boxes, gift boxes) to highlight brand identity.
Efficiency Management: Optimize packaging processes to reduce labor time (e.g., automated bagging, labeling).
Eco-Compliance: Use recyclable materials (e.g., non-woven fabric bags, kraft paper cards) to meet export standards (e.g., EU REACH).

2. Workflow
Receive Semi-Finished Products: Collect socks from the production department after knitting, dyeing, and shaping.
Sorting & Quality Inspection: Manual or machine sorting to reject defective items, ensuring correct pairing.

Packaging Operations:
Inner Packaging: Single-pair packaging (cardstock + transparent bags) or multi-pair sets (hang cards, folding boxes).
Outer Packaging: Box according to customer requirements (e.g., 12 pairs/box, 50 boxes/carton), attach moisture-proof labels.
Final Inspection & Documentation: Sample-check packaging integrity and label accuracy (size, material, barcode).
Storage/Shipping: Hand over to warehouse or logistics, ensuring batch traceability.
